At The Village Church we believe that anybody who shows evidence of having begun the Christian life can get baptised. Normally we carry out baptism by immersion in water. Where it is impractical to do this however we will baptise people by pouring water over them. We do not baptise babies and young children here, however we are delighted to offer a service of dedication to the children of Christian parents. This usually forms a part of our regular service, where family members and friends declare publicly their intention to bring up a child to understand the Christian message.
Due to the location of our baptistry, baptisms take place after the Sunday morning service. If you are interested in getting baptised speak to one of our Elders who will arrange to meet up with you.
